President Bush as we need him every day!

"Here in Washington, members of both parties recognize that our most solemn responsibility is to support our troops in the war on terror. Yet, today, a narrow majority in the House of Representatives abdicated its responsibility by passing a war spending bill that has no chance of becoming law, and brings us no closer to getting our troops the resources they need to do their job."

This is President Bush as we need him every day. Straight talk, hard hitting and focused on the key issues.

Big Surprise? North Korea Nuclear Talks Break Down

Why is this reported as a surprise or even news? Of course the stall and extort tactics of North Korea are going to continue until North Korea is freed from it's lunatic, and dangerous, dictator.

Bring Back the Constitution?

Charles R. Kesler of the Claremont Review of Books has a crazy notion for the 2008 presidential campaign, bring back the Constitution. In a brief commentary, Mr. Kesler illustrates the sad state of our nation by pointing out that the ONLY ISSUE specifically mandated by the Constitution for the federal government to manage and fund, national defence, is less than 20% of the annual budget.

Thank you Mr. Kesler. If only, as you point out, those who take an oath to "preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States" respected it as you apparently do.

"THE MOST FINANCIALLY IRRESPONSIBLE LAW IN 40 YEARS"

Not a surprise to the realist in the world. The only ones who will disagree or act surprised are the irresponsible politicians who enacted this, and yes that includes the Republicans and President Bush. Oh for a strong conservative leader!
