History repeats: Iranians Outside U.S. Embassy
In my ingnorance (see comments on some of my earlier posts), I assumed that since our Embassy (sovereign Soil) was attacked and the staff held hostage 25 odd years ago by the very Iranians now in power, that we did not maintain an Embassy in Iran. How wrong I was. It seems that this would be a very good time to close this Embassy and bring the staff home while we can. Perhaps those in the business of diplomacy can pretend the current Iranian regime never committed an outrageous act of war against the United States, without retribution, but the American people do remember and will not tolerate it happening again!
