Is the China President Bush is soon to visit a friend or foe of the United States? If the aggressive actions China continues to take against our allies in the region are not enough to illustrate China's true colors, the recent release by the U.S.-China Economic and Security Review Commission warns "that Beijing is using all means at its disposal to replace the United States as the preeminent power in Asia." A continued denial of Taiwan's independence and right of existence, economic and military espionage in the United States and growing military capabilities and aggressiveness are not the makings of a friend. It is time the United States prepares for the cold war with China that is already upon us.
